How to use the insurance card (DHIPAYA CARE CARD)

The procedure to use the rights in the hospital

  1. The insured presents insurance card, insurance card photo, insurance card photo from application or employee card with ID card or other cards Issued by the government before receiving medical treatment at a hospital in the contract every time, and in the case the insured is a child under 7 years of age, the parent has to present a government-issued card.
  2. In case the insured does not have an insurance card, forget to bring the card, or lost the card but there is protection information in the company system, the coverage rights can be confirmed from the insured’s name, surname and ID card number. If any information cannot be found, the hospital can contact Hotline 02-660-1221 24 hours a day.
  3. For the Outpatient medical treatment (OPD) that is not an exception, the medical facility will give the insured medical treatment the right away. In case of inpatient (IPD), the hospital staff will coordinate to the company to serve the insured every day
  4. After the medication, there is no cost to pay for if the medical expenses do not exceed the coverage limit. However, if there is the excess, the hospital will inform the insured to make the payment immediately.

Procedures and documents for claims

In the case of using a health insurance card with a medical facility in the contract

  1. Present a health insurance card together with an ID card or a driver's license or a card issued by an official to the staff of the hospital every time you received medical treatment
  2. Outpatient medical treatment (OPD) that is not an exception will be given the right to access hospitalization right away.
  3. In case of inpatient (IPD), hospital staff will coordinate to the company. To provide services to the insured 24 hours a day

In case of reserve payment for medical expenses
   In the case of Individual Insurance

  1. The insured are able to receive the treatment in a hospital in the contract by showing the insurance card; the excessive medical payment will be informed to the insured immediately.
  2. In the case that the insured has already reserved the medical expenses, but it is the service provided from the hospital outside the contract, the insured need to bring the evidence to claim for a compensation from the company following 2 types of procedure.
    2.1 Bring the documents to display to the company in person
    2.2 Send documents via post to the Personal Health and Accident Claims Department
  3. After the consideration of the compensation, the check will be delivered to the insured, or money will be transferred to the insured’s account.

   In the case of Group Insurance

  1. The insured are able to receive the treatment in a hospital in the contract by showing the insurance card; the excessive medical payment will be informed to the insured immediately.
  2. If the insured have already reserved the medical expenses, bring evidence to submit to the agency in order to notify the company for compensation claims
  3. After the consideration of the compensation, the check will be delivered to the insured, or money will be transferred to the insured’s bank account.
